Overview

This workshop looks at the specific benefits and challenges faced by family-owned businesses. Participants will investigate the most common problems including managing conflicts of interests of various family members, professionalizing management, institutionalizing good governance practice and policies, and setting long term strategic goals for their family business. The aim of Governance for Family-Owned Business workshop is to explore in depth the specialized knowledge and skills needed to effectively govern a complex family enterprise.
