PSX and PSBA pay tribute to (Late) Mr. Muhammad Yasin Lakhani

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Pakistan Stock Brokers Association (PSBA) held a simple ceremony to pay tribute to (Late) Mr. Yasin Lakhani at the Stock Exchange. The event was held to share memories of and pay respects to (Late) Mr. Lakhani who was a stalwart of the capital market of Pakistan. Guests at the gathering included prominent members of the brokerage community, PSX Board of Directors & Management as well as officials from PSBA. Mr. Farrukh H. Khan, CEO PSX, welcomed the guests and delivered a speech recalling the services rendered by Mr. Yasin Lakhani for the benefit of the capital market. Mr. Bilal Farooq, CE/ Secretary General PSBA, also addressed the audience and presented his perspective on the substantial contributions made by (Late) Mr. Lakhani for Pakistan’s capital market. Others who spoke and shared their views about the personality and the services of Mr. Lakhani included Mr. Munir Khanani, CEO Munir Khanani Securities; Mr. Adil Ghaffar, CEO First Equity Modaraba; Mr. Ahmed Chinoy, Board Member PSX; Mr. Abib Ali Habib, former Board Member PSX; Mr. Abdus Samad Sozer, Director Saleem Sozer Securities, and Mrs. Khalida Yasin Lakhani, spouse of (Late) Mr. Yasin Lakhani. The event was initiated with recitation from the holy Quran and concluded with refreshments.
