PSX & SECP Conduct Awareness Session on GEM Board for Lahore Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI)

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in collaboration with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) conducted an awareness session on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) board for Lahore Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The session was conducted online through the Zoom platform to facilitate the attendees, keeping in view their safety amidst the coronavirus pandemic. This was a fairly interactive session with questions and answers being exchanged and discussed between the participants of the meeting. The process by which companies, start-ups & green field projects can raise capital through listing on the GEM board was explained at length to the attendees. The representatives from PSX discussed with the participants the Stock Exchange’s role in facilitating capital formation and elaborated upon the complete procedure from appointing advisors to listing on the GEM board. ​
