PSX holds Investor Awareness Session for Gilgit Baltistan university students

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) held an Investor Awareness Session for students from Karakoram International University (KIU), Gilgit-Baltistan, and the University of Gilgit Baltistan, Skardu, at PSX Karachi office. As part of PSX’s Financial Literacy Initiative, the session aimed to educate students about financial planning, saving, investing, and the workings of the Stock Exchange. During the session, students learned about the various functions and operations of the Stock Exchange, as well as the diverse investment asset classes available in Pakistan. The Managing Director & CEO of PSX, Mr. Farrukh Sabzwari, also graced the event. He addressed the attendees, urging them to invest their time in understanding Pakistan’s capital market and to consider investing in the Stock Exchange. The students were further guided on the benefits of investing in PSX, the investment process, and how to navigate the PSX website and data portal, including the use of the virtual trading platform, ‘My Portfolio.’ The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where participants actively sought insights into the Stock Exchange and investment strategies for both primary and secondary markets.
