PSX holds Industry & Investor Awareness Session at Business Incubation Center (BIC) GCU Faisalabad

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Lahore team conducted an Investor and Industry Awareness Session for participants of Business Incubation Center (BIC) - GCU Faisalabad. The representatives of the startups present were briefed on the working and functions of the Stock Exchange, its ecosystem, and its role in capital formation in the country, by the PSX team. The representatives of the startups were also informed about the importance of financial planning & saving, the effect of inflation on savings, stock investment, and the advantages of investing in the equity market for the long term. PSX Lahore team further apprised the participants about the Stock Exchange’s role in capital formation and explained how a company (SME, startups and greenfield projects) can list at PSX’s Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Board and raise growth capital. The PSX representatives guided the startups teams and management of BIC-GCU Faisalabad on how to select stock brokers with the help of the broker’s list and contact details available on PSX website. Furthermore, they were apprised on how to navigate & explore the PSX website to access the various functions/ information available therein. There was an interactive question & answer segment at the end of the session where the teams from the various companies asked several relevant questions from the PSX team.
