PSX conducts Investor Awareness Session in Szabist University

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for students of Szabist University. The subject of the session was how to save money as a student and invest in the most lucrative investment avenues. Financial planning and management is of prime importance nowadays because of high inflation, continuously rising costs and lower purchasing power. In such a scenario, the students of the University were guided upon ways to save and invest, budget, and conduct financial planning for their present and future. The participants of the session were apprised about the importance of passive income and starting to invest early in life. The participating students were also made aware about NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and how to make their investment portfolios in accordance with their age brackets and risk thresholds. The students were given a walk-through on the options available for investing in the stock market, the functions of the stock market, and its role in capital formation. The University students took great interest in the proceedings of the session and interacted with relevant discussion/ Q&As in the session.
