PSX conducts Investor Awareness Session for students of Karachi University

Pakistan Stock Exchange held an investor awareness session for students of Karachi University at the Exchange premises. The students were apprised about the importance of saving and investment, the various asset classes available in Pakistan, the benefits of investing in equities for the long term as well as the function of the Stock Exchange and the role it plays in the economy. The PSX team presented a walk-through to the KU students about the various departmental functions of the Exchange; from regulatory, operational and technological perspectives. The students were also informed about how to access required information and data from PSX website and the PSX Data Portal. They were advised on how to select their securities broker by navigating the PSX website. Overall, it was a very productive session involving an interactive discussion and Q&A session between the PSX and the KU teams.
