PSX conducts Investor Awareness Session for Kinnaird College, Lahore

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted a roundtable awareness session along with AKD Securities Ltd. for the faculty members and M. Phil. students of Kinnaird College, Lahore. This was part of the PSX Financial Literacy Initiative to inculcate awareness among the youth on investment, particularly equity investments in the stock market, and the role of the capital market in the economy of Pakistan. The participants were apprised about how to open a brokerage account, how to select stockbrokers, and how to navigate the PSX website. The representative of AKD Securities also briefed the attendees about brokers’ functions regarding trading. This was an informative and productive session for all participants as Pakistan Stock Exchange continues its efforts on investor awareness and education for the general public, specially our youth. At the end of the session, there was an interactive Q&A segment where students and their faculty members asked several questions relevant to the Stock Exchange and investment procedure in the Primary and Secondary market. Concludingly, the faculty of the college appreciated PSX’s efforts for awareness of investors and the development of the capital market.
