PSX Conducts Investor Awareness Session for faculty & students of NED University of Engineering & Technology

PSX conducted an Investor Awareness session for students of NED University of Engineering & Technology, as part of the Pakistan Financial Literacy Week 2025. The session aimed to educate students on the importance of stock market investments and the critical role the capital market plays in Pakistan’s economy. Topics covered included portfolio management, making informed investment decisions, the impact of dividends on stock prices, market trends, and economic indicators. During the session, students were introduced to the “My Portfolio” platform, where they learned how to spend and invest with virtual cash in a live trading environment. PSX representative gave insights not only about savings but also about how to invest smartly. The participants were briefed on the benefits of investing in PSX and how to navigate the PSX website.

Faculty and Students from NED University were highly engaged throughout the session, asking insightful questions not only about the stock market but also about the current Pakistan Stock Exchange’s stock trading competition, “PSX Battle of the Bulls 2025.” Their curiosity and enthusiasm reflected a strong interest in deepening their understanding of investment strategies and capital markets. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, leaving students appreciative of PSX’s efforts in promoting financial literacy and investor education across Pakistan. This session is being held as a part of Pakistan Financial Literacy Week 2025 being held in collaboration between PSX, SBP, SECP, CDC and NCCPL from 14th-18th April 2025.
