PSX Conducts ETF Awareness Session for Lahore Based Security Brokers

PSX conducted an awareness session regarding Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) for security brokers based in Lahore. A detailed presentation was given to the stock brokers by a PSX official. Another PSX official from Karachi was also online through video conferencing during the said session. The participants were informed about what constitutes an ETF and how it is traded in the market, amongst other aspects related to an ETF. The attendees were told that because there are multiple scrips within an ETF, they can be a popular choice for diversification for investors. They were further informed that an ETF can also track an existing index and can be bought and sold just like stocks in the market. The market participants took great interest in the session and asked several questions regarding ETFs from the PSX team.
