PSX conducts an Investor Awareness Session for the Students of Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur.

PSX (Islamabad) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for the students of the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur. The session aimed to educate students on the significance of stock market investments and the vital role of capital markets play in the economic development of Pakistan.

Key topics discussed included portfolio management, making informed investment decisions, the influence of dividends on stock prices, market trends, and the interpretation of economic indicators.

During the session, students were introduced to the “My Portfolio” platform, which allowed them to experience virtual trading by allocating virtual funds in a simulated live market environment, offering practical, hands-on exposure in a risk-free setting. Participants were also guided on how to navigate the PSX website and understand the benefits of investing through the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The session saw enthusiastic participation, with students asking thoughtful and insightful questions not only about stock market dynamics but also about the upcoming “PSX Battle of the Bulls 2025” stock trading competition. Their active engagement highlighted a keen interest in learning more about investment strategies and the broader workings of the capital market.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students sought further guidance on investment strategies across both Primary and Secondary markets. This session is a part of Pakistan Financial Literacy Week 2025 being held from April 14-18, 2025 in collaboration between PSX, SBP, SECP, CDC and NCCPL all around the country.
