PSX conducts Industry Awareness Session in Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) team visited Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GTCCI) and met with the senior management (President, SVP, VP) and executive committee members of GTCCI. During the visit, PSX Regional Head, Lahore, briefed the GTCCI team about the Stock Exchange and its role in capital formation. He explained how growth oriented small and medium enterprises (SMEs) & greenfield companies can raise capital by listing on PSX GEM Board and take their business to the next level. The PSX team also apprised the GTCCI officials about the role of Consultant & Advisor for GEM Board and briefed them about the requirements for filing listing application at PSX. The PSX team also highlighted the importance of succession planning as many known names in business community in Pakistan do not survive by the time the third generation of these companies takes over the helm of affairs, as per a study of IFC (World bank). ​
