PSX and BMA Capital Management Ltd. jointly conducted an Industry Awareness Session for Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) participants

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and a Securities Broker, BMA Capital Management Ltd., jointly conducted an Industry Awareness Session for participants from Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The PSX Lahore team apprised the GCCI officials and local businesspersons about PSX GEM Board, its eligibility criteria to raise growth capital, procedure of listing and role of Consultants and Advisors to the Issue. The participants were also apprised about the basics of investment, the importance of financial planning and saving, functions & operations of the Stock Exchange, and the PSX website and Data Portal navigation. The participants took great interest in the informative session and discussions with the PSX team regarding various topics related to the stock market. The Securities Broker’s representative(s) also gave a briefing about their brokerage functions and operations. This exercise was part of the Industry Awareness Initiative of PSX. In the end, there was an interactive Q&A session where participants asked several questions relevant to the Stock Exchange and investment procedure in the market.
