Pakistan Stock Exchange conducts an Investor Awareness Session for the students of Bahria University, Lahore

PSX (Lahore Office) conducted an Investor Awareness session for students of Bahria University, Lahore with a focus on educating them about the importance of stock market investments and the vital role the capital market plays in Pakistan’s economy. The session covered various topics, including Sahulat Account opening, portfolio management, making informed investment decisions, how dividends impact stock prices, market trends, and economic indicators. During the session, students were introduced to the “My Portfolio” platform, where they not only learned how to allocate virtual cash in a live trading environment but also opened their own accounts. This hands-on experience allowed them to engage directly with the trading process and understand the dynamics of the market in a risk-free, virtual setting. Participants were also briefed on the benefits of investing in PSX and how to navigate the PSX website. The event concluded with a lively Q&A segment, where students actively sought insights into the Stock Exchange and investment strategies for both Primary and Secondary markets. The students expressed their gratitude for PSX’s commitment to enhancing investor awareness and fostering the growth of Pakistan’s capital market.​
