PSX conducts Investor Awareness Session for students of Jamia Yahya Madni

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for students of Jamia Yahya Madni. The students were apprised about the importance of saving and investment, the various asset classes available in Pakistan, the benefits of investing in equities for the long term as well as the function of the Stock Exchange and the role it plays in the economy. The PSX team presented a walk-through to the Jamia students about the various departmental functions of the Exchange; from regulatory, operational and technological perspectives. The importance of listing for capital raising and increasing the visibility & overall image of companies through listing was also explained to the students. Furthermore, the students were guided upon ways of navigating the PSX website and how to access the different types of information available on the PSX Data Portal.
