Investors Awareness Session for University of Lahore

​Despite the challenge of the Coronavirus pandemic and the prevailing lockdown, Pakistan Stock Exchange continued with its Financial Literacy Initiative and held an Investor Awareness session for more than 100 students of University of Lahore through the Zoom platform. The students were apprised about the basics of investment, financial planning, savings and investments, and the role of equity market in capital formation.

​ The students were also informed about the dos and don’ts of investing in the stock market, selection of stock-brokers through the list of stock-brokers on the PSX website, how to navigate through the PSX website and the stock market ecosystem. It was a fruitful session overall, with such a large number of students taking advantage of the virtual platform to increase their investor education and awareness through the auspices of Pakistan Stock Exchange.
