Investor Awareness Session for Students of IBA Karachi

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) held an Investor Awareness Session for students of IBA (Karachi) at PSX Auditorium in Karachi. Students were apprised about the basics of investment, importance of financial planning, savings & investment, how Pakistan Stock Exchange operates and learning also on how to navigate PSX’s website. Students took great interest in the informative session, taking part in discussions with the PSX team on various topics related to the stock market. Students learned about various functions of the Stock Exchange including its regulatory, Information Technology and operational structure perspectives. Students were also apprised about the significance of listing where companies raise capital with the aim to increase its operational capability, brand image and holding in its industry as it listed on the Stock Exchange. Students then were given a tour of PSX’s Trading Hall to apprise them about how the stock market functions.
