Investor Awareness Session for Postgraduate Students of University of Sahiwal.

Investor Awareness session was held for students of University of Sahiwal at PSX Regional Office in Lahore. PSX Officials briefed students about the working and functions of the Stock Exchange, its ecosystem and its role in capital formation in the country. The students learned about the importance of financial planning & saving, the effect of inflation on savings, stock investment and the advantages of long-term investment in the equity market. Then Students were guided on how to select stock brokers based on Stock Brokers data available on PSX’s website. Furthermore, students learned how to navigate and explore the PSX website and its data portal. In the end there was an interactive Q&A session where students asked several questions relevant to the Stock Exchange and how to invest. Students were later shown around real-time trading activities at relevant brokerage house.
